Costa Rica

Costa Rica is one of my favorite destinations. I've been there over 20 times and have experienced nearly every corner yet always long to see more. With all of the options available to travelers, it can be a challenge to determine where to go and what to do. Tap into my destination experience and let me help you.

Activity options are endless! River raft trips range from Class I gentle family trips to Class 5 white-knucklers. Go zip-lining through the cloud forest or walk along elevated paths above the tree tops while looking for sloth, monkeys, and parrots. Fishing is spectacular; jump tarpon at the Tortuguero River's mouth or land the largest sailfish of your life. Attend a surf camp, play a pick-up game of soccer with the locals or just hang on the beach and watch the waves. Practice yoga overlooking the rain forest or trek up a dormant volcano. And let's not forget golfing 18 holes, snorkeling amongst the tropical fish or mountain biking on remote trails.

Accommodations vary from rustic lodges to the Four Seasons in Papagayo. There are several new all-inclusives that are easily accessible to the Liberia airport and great choices for families. How about a home stay for a night or two in a local village or a permanent tent resort in the Osa Peninsula? One of my favorites is renting a house or condo. There are numerous choices and I can help select one that meets your needs.

While Costa Rica is a small country geographically, it's very diverse. The Monteverde Cloud Forest, the rain forest, Manual Antonio National Park, Osa Peninsula, the wild Caribbean Beaches, isolated Tortuguero. Choosing where to go and how to get there can be a challenge. Utilize my first-hand experiences and let's plan the perfect itinerary together!
